Airmaster’s Head of Design, James Dawson has passed his certification to become a CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Service Engineers) Low Carbon Consultant.
Lisa Pogson, Managing Director, said “James joined us in 2016 as our first Graduate and he brought great skills and knowledge from his training that helped us grow areas of design capacity of our organisation and enhance our Team ethos and culture too. This qualification increases his skills and gives us additional capacity around EPCs and design parameters. He is a really valued part of our senior management and is also our employee representative and Director on the Trust Board.”
The CIBSE certification for Low Carbon Consultant Design Management Specialist means that those qualified can confirm Part L2A Compliance against all 5 compliance Criteria, advise on energy efficiency and conservation, advise on and design low carbon and renewable technologies, use passive design technologies to make the best use of shade and natural ventilation and deliver the information needed to manage the building effectively and ensure that it continues to perform to its design intent after handover.
